Karan Batta is an Indian-American actor, rapper, and screenwriter; think a South Asian American Donald Glover.
After a Best Hip-Hop Artist nomination from VH1, his work garnered attention from MTV, Rolling Stone Magazine, and even Conan O’Brien. During his time as a comedic actor on TBS’ Conan, Karan discovered his love for comedic screenwriting.
As a screenwriter, he is a Script Pipeline, Screen Craft, and WeScreenplay finalist. His latest self-produced shorts have placed in numerous film festivals including the Austin Comedy Film Festival, where Karan was nominated for Best Acting Performance.
Karan is committed to creating diverse driven and boundary pushing content. He is an organ transplant survivor.
